The Alpha and Omega, the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet, refer to Christ as the Eternal One. "I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord" (Revelation 1:8). The Alpha and Omega must, therefore, always be used in connection with some symbol of Christ, or else it will be meaningless. |
